Meet Tres—like UNO, DOS, TRES. Born as the third son in Puerto Rico, he once joked about naming his youngest brother "OCHO" but was promptly voted off the island and into a mortgage company instead.

A true overachiever, Tres began performing magic shows for hire at just 11 years old. By 14, he had earned the rank of Eagle Scout and advanced to the Order of the Arrow the following year. At 18, he traveled to the Philippines, and at 19, he embarked on a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His dedication continued as he served eight years in the U.S. Army, during which time he also married and later earned a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University.
 

Family has always been at the heart of Tres’s journey. He and his wife adopted three sons. Life took a difficult turn when he lost his wife, leaving him to navigate a season of loneliness. But at 54, love found him again when he married Kim—the prettiest, sweetest, and kindest person he has ever known. Kim wholeheartedly supports Tres in his passion for helping people become homeowners through his work as a residential loan officer. Despite being "shy like garlic," having a "face for radio," and dancing like he has two left feet, Tres and Kim enjoy spending time together.

Beyond work and family, Tres loves woodworking, magic, and music. As a father and husband, he believes he is blessed with more than he deserves.

I have used Tres form many many years. I deviated from using him once, and regretted it. My wife and I have used him for Home Purchases and Refinancing.
